PCNZ Excellence Award

Conservation House represents the revitalisation of a disused cinema complex in the heart of WellingtonÍs CBD, into New ZealandÍs first equivalent of a five-star-rated Green Star building. This provides office space for the key tenant, The Department of Conservation.

JudgesÍ Comments

ñThe developer has produced an excellent, environmentally friendly investment property, fulfilling the demanding requirements of the main tenant. The judges were impressed by the buildingÍs advanced environmentally sustainable features. It is an exciting workplace for tenants and has revitalised Manners StreetÍs retail presence, while producing sound financial results for the owners.î
